So what's your favorite lure? This may or may not be your most productive lure; I know for me it isn't. It's actually pretty close between spinnerbaits and jigs. To me, there's nothing like a bass slamming a spinnerbait and then going airborne a few times as it tries to shake that lure loose. And, likewise, there's nothing like pitching or flipping a jig into the most unlikeliest of places only to have a bass jump on it and start taking out drag. Hmmm...I'm going to go with the jig since I've become pretty much addicted to "jiggin' it" ever since I started getting into jig fishing last year. I yet have to learn how to properly flip and pitch with a baitcaster, but yep, the jig is it for me. How about you?

Favorite has to be a jointed shad-rap from Rapala. Then again if I could pick what kind of bite was on, I would definately choose some sort of top water bite. There nothin in our dear sport that can compete with the "explosive terror" that happens to you when a hawg explodes on your top water lure in the quiet morning lol. So I guess in hind site I'm going to go with a buzzbait in Alabama as my favorite. (not to be confused with most productive)

Favorite bait has to be a topwater water for me. The thrill of having a bass hit a topwater is heart pumping stuff!!

I haven't had the pleasure of catching a bass on topwater...yet. I just don't have the patience for it and around here, there aren't really a lot of good "topwater" areas.

i would have to say between a spinnerbait and a crankbait would be my fav. they both cover alot of water and the bass is hungry, he will eat it. when it slows down, i like throwing a jig or some a plastic.
