We fished the tournament at the yt store today, and it was an experience to say the least. There were at least 300 people fishing in a .8 mile strip of water, so it was rather crowded. At times we were fishing shoulder to shoulder, and I had my line casted over more than a dozen times. There were only about 30 or 40 fish caught total for the day. I ended up catching one early in the tournament that weighed about a pound on a shakey head worm and finished 20th. I couldn't tell how much weight won the tournament because they were speaking korean at the awards ceremony, but I saw the fish that won it and it looked to weigh about 2.5 lbs or so. My friend and I ended up being the only two Americans in the tournament which was surprising, but all in all it was a good experience, minus the sunburn we both got.

Glad to hear that you guys were able to make it out there. Maybe I can make it to the next one. 20th place out of 300 people isn't too bad. I believe when I read the prize list, they had prizes up to 80th place. That's crazy that they had so many people in such a small spot. Good job.
